Technical Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations)

Job Summary

LMKR is looking for a Technical Consultant with experience in the design and implementation of system integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations/Dynamics AX to join our team.

Job Description

• Participate in client technical workshops to analyze and design Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations technical solutions.
• Define and evaluate the non-functional and technical requirements for each business process in your work stream.
• Collaborate on the creation of application requirements and fit/gap analysis.
• Write technical specifications and collaborate with the functional team to ensure functional and technical requirements are understood and well defined.
• Manage document the system extensions and integrations and prepare project documentation deliverables.
• Support key users in system integration acceptance testing.
• Train key-users and/or end-users.
• Collaborate with client technical resources around the definition and implementation of system integrations.
• Design and ensure adherence to Avanade development best practices.
• Manage multiple cloud and on-premises instances of Dynamics, including initial deployment, code releases, and database copies, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.
• Perform code release management, ensuring successful build and deployment to relevant environments with appropriate release notes.

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelors in IT, Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or any other related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of system integration to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations/Dynamics AX ideally gained on the Microsoft Azure Integration Architecture with LogicApps.
• Experience with the Microsoft Common Data Service and the Microsoft Power Platform would be an advantage.
